The quality of these two 'skull caps' is fine. Problem is they lack a 'slit' in front of the ears where you can pass the 'arms' of sun/glasses thru to go over/around your ear. If the 'caps' come down over your ear, like me, the arms of my sunglasses slide down/then over my ears-aided by the frame of my 'bone conduction headphones'. Even my winter caps have pass-thru slits. I've taken to folding the skull cap bottom back up over itself -like 'hand-me-down' jeans that are 'cuffed' at the bottom cause they are too long.....then, they don't come down over my ears....so....problem solved-ahh.......NO!...Everything moves around and become a tangled, uncomfortable mess under my helmet/helmet straps!! -all for the lack of a simple 'slit'..(actually 2 'slits').... The second cap, I tried to cut the simple slits-but now that area is becoming a mess as well.-especially after a wash. I'm hoping to find someone who has a 'button-hole' program on their sewing machine-or the second cap is not long for this world........ Three stars cause they work......but not well. Deducted one star for each missing 'slit'.....

These skull cap helmet liners are seriously lightweight and breathable, which is a huge plus for me. I swear I sweat more than anyone else on the planet, so these have been a lifesaver in keeping my helmet from getting quite so… fragrant. They do a great job of wicking away moisture and just generally making the helmet experience much more pleasant.Another big win is how easy they are to wash and clean. I just toss them in with my regular laundry, and they come out fresh every time. Getting a two-pack was also a really nice touch; it feels like a good value, and it means I always have a clean one ready to go while the other is in the wash.

Zwei Helm-Mützen, sauber - aber leider nicht nahtlos verarbeitet. Und - die Nähte sind relativ dick. Das bekommen andere Anbieter bedeutend flacher hin. Je nachdem, welchen Helm man trägt und wie empfindlich man diesbezüglich ist, sind diese Nähte unter Umständen auch spürbar.Der Stoff ist ein dünnes Mesh, das bei heißen Temperaturen den Schweiß aufnimmt und damit eine leichte Kühlwirkung erzielt.

These are thinner than I thought they would be. Mesh is definitely mesh (think, football jersey material). See photo where I held it up to a light.They are baggy, not tight. The opening is about the usual size, but the rest kind of bags out larger than that. I couldn’t find a way to make them fit snug and without wrinkles under my helmet. Again, see photo.Overall, they are a little large. The only way I can get all wrinkles out is to pull them down over my ears. Otherwise, they have to to be pushed up above my ears and that creates wrinkles and bagginess.Strange: The black one fits more snug than the blue one.Overall, the quality is good. The seams are sewn well, and there are no stray threads. Maybe they’re just not for me, but I was expecting a snug fit.

These helmet liners are great. Very comfortable in hot weather, and they are just the right size. They fit perfectly inside a helmet, with no excess material to bunch up and annoy you. If you have thinning hair, or shave your head, sun exposure can be an issue even when wearing a helmet. Many helmets have large vents, which are great for air flow but can allow the sun to burn your scalp. These helmet liners prevent that and also keep your helmet from getting too sweaty and disgusting. Recommended.

I do mostly city biking - errands, etc. But I still get sweaty in the summer. And I don't have much hair to provide sun protection. So, I like to wear a skull cap under my helmet. A side benefit is that the helmet pads stay cleaner. Another is that sweat from my forhead is less likely to fall into my eyes (sweat + sunscreen stings!).I've had several skull caps for use with bike helmets. These seem comparable in quality to most. The elastic is tight enough, without being too tight. The fabric is thin and very breathable. The brim is the perfect size to give a little shade to the eyes without obstructing my vision when I'm riding in the drops with my head down.This set of two caps is a great value for my use.
