I have had this lead since May 2021 My 40kg mad Labrador goes 3 walks a day and this lead had never let us down. I am just about to purchase another

Its much heavier than my old dog lead and bigger, for a 30kg GSD, its sturdy enough, but the tape can get twisted and caught up so slower to retract than others I've used before. I use this for night time walks because the LED (battery powered) light is pretty good.

I purchased this for our Westie, who is a rescue and no road sense, I wanted to give him lots of freedom with a long extendable lead. However this product is dangerous ( I have tried to contact the seller but no details to be found ) so I hope they see this and recall the product. I have only been using it less than 15 days. Already the " lead" has folded in on itself so it doesn't retract into the body of mechanism. Which they prevents me from being able to lock it when out on road walks and near traffic, so 3 times now the lead itself has not retracted and I have had to wrap the lead around my wrists to prevent our dog being able to run in the road. Poor poor product, design is awful and needs to be recalled before a dog does get ran over, or even worse!!!

I love the flashlight and the long lead. Allows my dog to freely explore, I hardly have to pull on him.It's just a shame that the actual lead is not made out of rope but a thin material that bends and flaps... A true design flaw that does not retract if the lead is slightly folded or angled and so you have to keep adjusting. Would've been 5/5 for me. I'll probably buy a new and improved version from another brand later down the line.It's quite dangerous if your dog is sniffing on a corner behind you and you are walking ahead. If he/she suddenly runs to catch up to you and extends past you, the lead is tangled and it no longers retracts (Especially if it's a windy day). Leaving you startled like you're trying to reel in a fish which is dangerous if crossing a road.

After a few walks this lead frayed and snapped would not recommend it again
