I use these on all my earrings, because my skin is so sensitive to metals. They work great for me. I can wear the cheapest (yet cutest) pairs of earrings all day long and have absolutely no problem at all thanks to these covers. I highly recommend these if you are metal sensitive, yet love earrings.

Funktioniert einwandfrei. Dank der verschiedenen Größen sind die Hülsen für alle Stecker immer passgenau und die Silikonstecker halten fest.

Ziemlich enttäuschend. Ist ausgeschrieben mit 100 Stück, ich habe lediglich 60 Stück erhalten. Hätte ich das gewusst, hätte ich mich für ein Produkt in meiner lokalen Apotheke entschieden. Allerdings habe ich die Hülsen dringend benötigt, deshalb behalte ich sie. Sie sind aber ihren Preis nicht wert - und die geringe Stückzahl ist Verbrauchertäuschung.

I got an earlier version of what is on offer now. First, I am quite pleased with the main result of this purchase, which is: my ears react not at all or far less to metals which I can't tolerate, that being just about anything other than 10+k gold. When they have it's been the flexible sleeves on hooks, and I haven't got the sleeve in quite the right place.Now for the nitty-gritty:If you have small earring holes, you should expect discomfort when you first add these to your earrings--just as if you were wearing thicker than normal posts or hooks, because you are.Depending on the length of your posts, the silicone backs may secure the sleeve but not the actual post, making the earring more likely to slip out. This could potentially be solved by cutting the post sleeves down a bit, but I haven't really felt the need.Finally, the stiff sleeves were incorrectly labeled for size. For that matter the two bags of long posts are more like 11mm, and the two bags of short all 7mm.Still, I have to reiterate that they're getting the job I bought them for done. In fact I plan to buy more, for family members with similar sensitivities.

Update: 11/24/24- have had these for over a month now and have inserted the silicone tip for any earrings I wear and I haven’t had any adverse reactions. Whoever invented these needs to win the noble piece prize. My ears are so happy and I’m happy cause now I get to wear whatever earring I like 🥰Original post:These are really saving my ears from a lot of pain. Everytime I would put in earrings for the last 10 years my ear would swell around the earring and hurt so bad after just an hour. When I would remove the earring I would get a clear liquid that would crust crust around the piercing hole. And mind you my ears have been pierced since I was a week old so there couldn’t have been an infection. I guess when you age things change. But I wanted to try something cause I missed wearing earrings and feeling girly. I used these and my ears hurt slightly but that’s from the stretching of the hole due to having the silicone in my ears but other than that feel great. I’ve had these in for about 4 days. I feel comfortable and now I’m excited again cause I get to buy earrings now. 😝

The largest size was way too small to slip over the earrings' post(s) and wires. There are a variety of choices of sizes but not even the largest size was manageable to get onto my earrings. It hurt my fingers trying to slip the covers over the earrings' posts and/or wires. They need to be wider and longer. I will try to find larger sizes, greater than .8mm (in width) at a different vendor. I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am allergic to pretty much any metal I place in my ears and was about to give up on earrings but these actually worked! It did take some getting used to at first because it makes the earring slightly thicker than I usually use but after that they're perfect I have even been sleeping with my earrings on because the silicone backs don't bother my skin. Also, nobody can tell they're on. The flexible ones were more difficult to apply but I was willing to spend time on it since once it's on it stays on. The stiff ones can be removed easily from the earring and put onto a different pair.
