Firstly. This is well made and feels secure when fitted to the speaker. The strap has metal clips, but is quite thin. Does the job though.My main problem and the reason for 1 star is because of the amount it effects the sound of the £400 Bose soundlink max.It's all good and well adding protection to you £400 purchase, but the purchase is a speaker and the ability to produce clear, rich and full sound is crucial.This case prevents the Bose from living upto it's sound potential as it muffles the treble and pretty much destroys the stereo imaging.The silicone case also resonates when the speaker is at high volume and 'slaps' against the speaker. It's not a massive effect, but it is noticeable.I would love to give this more than 1 star as it is a nice case. However, a speaker needs to sound good and adding something which greatly effects this is not fit for purpose.
