L’installation est simple si vous êtes un peu bricoleur, et les instructions fournies sont claires et précises. Une fois installé, la différence est flagrante : le vélo n’est plus limité à 25 km/h, ce qui rend les trajets beaucoup plus rapides et agréables, surtout sur de longues distances.J’ai apprécié la compatibilité avec les moteurs Bosch récents (2017-2024), ce qui prouve que le produit est bien conçu et adapté aux dernières technologies. Une fois activé, tout fonctionne parfaitement, et le moteur reste fluide et réactif.Côté sécurité, le système peut être désactivé facilement si nécessaire, ce qui est rassurant. Je recommande vivement à ceux qui roulent sur des routes privées ou qui cherchent à améliorer leur expérience de conduite.Un investissement que je ne regrette absolument pas !

Since I've got my brand new 2020 Cube Kathmandu Hybrid pro 625 bike I've driven 1400 kms with the speed limiter and every single time it irritated me... It's hard to get past the 25 kmh because it stops pretty abruptly..At first I didn't want to modify my expensive brand new bike because of the possible voided warranty and, let's face it, it's not quite legal to do... I also was afraid to get in trouble with the 504 fault codes which might put the bike in limp mode and in that case the dealer would find out what I've done...I wanted to await the first service at my dealer, but I couldn't wait that long and installed the chip about a week prior to the service appointment. It worked on the old firmware!My lord.... What a difference! Riding my bike made so much more fun! I used the bike to get to my work and didn't use as much time! Driving a bit faster is also easier when you're over the 25 kmh limiter, even without the extra power.When I brought my bike to the dealership, I removed the chip. I asked the dealer to make the firmware update and give me the power upgrade, so I got 85Nm instead of the 75Nm that my Bosch Performance Line CX motor came with last year. It turned my bike into an absolute beast 😎 Back home I put the chip back in after driving about 2 kms without it, just to be sure!Installing the chip in my Cube just takes a minute.... Remove 1 inbus bolt, take the cover off, take 2 connectors out of the sockets and put them in the chip's high quality connectors, place the outgoing connectors on the engine, put the cover back and you're done! Don't forget to set a new limit, since 99 kmh is insane...Sure, you can drive it unlimited and I managed to get it to about 55 kmh quite easily, but that's not something I'd support. 35/40 kmh limit is more than fast enough if you ask me. Also just keep in mind that the Bosch software might detect the modification earlier when you're taking it beyond the limits..Please, DO NOT FORGET to let the system turn itself off, just wait for that stupid timer. If you can't wait, better secure the display with the screw it came with so I can't get stolen.Drive safely and don't be stupid 😉😅My bike came with the Bosch Intuvia display, was upgraded through that system and still worked fine. Last week I also upgraded my computer and now I've got the new Bosch Kiox. This has been a major upgrade, I can highly recommend doing so!
