This protective and decorative film for the charging port area on Tesla's is a nice idea and you get everything in the kit to make it an easy install.I really like the carbon fibre look so was excited to try this on the charger port area and it also then protects it from any accidental scratches. I test fit the piece over the port area to get a good idea of how it was going to fit and line up then put masking tape on one end while I peeled the backing off and sprayed the area with the fluid so it can be adjusted to perfection before you squeeze it out and it sticks firmly in place. This worked quite well but does take patience so it’s not a 5 minute job if you want a good lined up fit around the port and logo areas. If you take your time, it does come out very nicely and gave it a nice carbon fibre look with a good weave pattern that doesn’t look too fake.The outer cover is lovely and clear so if you put it on you can barely notice it from a distance, but it is quite a bit thicker so I didn’t use it in the end for fear of it being too obvious around the edges.Overall, it’s a very nice kit though that’s well designed and comes with all the pieces and tools you need to do a very good home installation. Priced at £26.99 it’s not cheap so maybe needs a deal on it but Spigen products are good quality and last well.

Pelicula protectora para el conector de nuestro Tesla.Incorpora todo lo necesario para instalarla, materiales, espatula, e incluso un amplio manual de como hacerlo paso por paso.La instalación es muy fácil, apenas nos llevara unos pocos minutos.El acabado esta francamente conseguido.El resultado es elegante a la vez que protege la parte del conector.

Guten Abend liebe Tesla Freunde, ich kann diese Folie nicht empfehlen. Zu kleiner Ausschnitt und Folie passt nicht gut. Ladeklappe schließt ständig sodass eine gute Anbringung nicht möglich ist. Würde das Produkt wieder zurückgeben wenn es nicht kleben würde.

Muy contento con esta protección para el puerto de carga en mi Tesla Model 3 modelo 2022. Le da un toque elegante al interior y protege de arañazos. La instalación fue relativamente sencilla teniendo un poco de maña, ya que hay que cuadrar bien la pegatina antes de pegarla para ver como deberia quedar, y despues despegar la mitad inferior para cuadrarla con el puerto de carga, y posteriormente, quitar la otra mitad del papel en la pegatina y terminar de pegar la parte superior que puede ser la "mas complicada". Hay que fijarse que no quede por fuera del plastico negro y pueda interferir a la hora de que se cierre la tapa (tener un poco de sentido comun claro).Trae unas toallitas con alcohol para limpiar bien el puerto de carga donde se adhiere la pegatina de carbono y en la parte exterior donde va la lamina transparente. Encaja bastante bien, aunque en mi caso tire un poco de algun extremo para que coincidiera en algunos bordes.Es un accesorio que vale la pena, ya que aparte de darle un toque elegante al puerto de carga, protege de posibles arañazos.

The protective wrap for my Tesla Model 3 is effective in keeping the charge port clean and free from scratches, making the task of daily charging much more straightforward. As someone prone to a bit of clumsiness with these types of things, I appreciated that the pack included cleaning wipes and clear, easy-to-follow instructions. Aligning everything perfectly with the cutouts did take some time, despite the precision measurements. I’d recommend allocating enough time to apply it carefully – it’s not something to rush when you’re pressed for time!The carbon-effect finish lends an elegant look to the area. That said, the material is thinner than I had anticipated, so I’m interested to see how durable it proves to be over time, particularly with the demanding weather here in Wales. Nonetheless, it seems to be a thoughtfully crafted product aimed at helping to preserve the car’s appearance.
