Reach on all four levers is easily customized using a small allen key. The shifters are light for their price point. The shifting is surprisingly smooth AND comfortable (having small hands). Shifting in the chainring is also surprisingly good and very distinct. Down shifting on RD requires a very small pull which also makes up shifting the RD really easy for small hands, even for going up 3 cogs. Towards the bottom of the cassette (last 3 cogs or so), the downshift doesn't have as clear a click as the rest of the cogs, but your legs will probably feel the difference instead.

Aunque llevo un par de salidas sólo y estoy adaptándome al double tap (vengo de un cambio ultegra), la impresión es genial. Cambia de forma rápida y precisa y son muy cómodas. Es de fácil instalación y reglaje, y viene con un juego de fundas para cables de freno y de cambio, topes y cables de freno y cambio.

There are three different options when buying the Rival 22 shifters, front, rear or set. I ordered the set and the cables were included. I have had mine for about six months and am not disappointed. The shifting is crisp, easy and fast. The textured hoods feel nice in the hands and provide improved grip even with sweaty palms. The reach adjustment was easy and quick for both levers. At 332g the Rival 22 shifters are just 52g heavier than the SRAM RED 22 and 154g lighter than the Shimano 105. The 52g difference with the SRAM RED 22 shifters is because the Rival 22 shifters use aluminium for both the brake and shift levers while SRAM RED 22 uses carbon for both. Apart from that, you still get the same capabilities and performance of the SRAM RED 22 shifters, including the awesome DoubleTap technology, Yaw and Zero Loss, at a fraction of their cost. The Rival 22 is also compatible with SRAM RED 22 and Force 22 drivetrains.
