Cincuenta lijas rectangulares de 115 x 145 mm, con granos de 40 a 240, por lo que cuando se trate de madera abarcan desde el lijado más áspero o desbaste (grano 40) al grano más pequeño (240), ya para acabado fino y pulido.Me parecen más bien apropiadas para madera que para otros materiales, ya que los acabados pulidos en metal, plástico, resinas o vidrio exigen granos más finos, incluso por encima de 1000.Están pensadas para lijadoras orbitales cuya base encaje con las medidas del papel, que de todas formas puede cortarse si es necesario para ajustarlas a las medidas del plato de la lijadora.Las hojas tienen el correspondiente velcro para ser adheridas, y vienen presentadas en un paquete compacto plastificado de 12 x 15 cms aproximadamente. Tienen los consabidos agujeros para facilitar la extracción mecánica del polvo generado por el lijado, aunque podrías encontrarte con el problema de que los agujeros no encajen exactamente con los que tiene tu lijadora, por lo que si esto es importante para tu trabajo debes asegurarte antes sobre este extremo.Naturalmente, también se pueden usar para lijar a mano o con un soporte para lijado manual, pero no les sacaremos todo el partido para el que están pensadas.En general, buena adquisición.

Firstly, when will the manufacturers agree on a pattern for the holes on sanding sheets? None are interchangeable which is a real pain if you cannot get the exact product. The sheets themselves did have 2 holes which aligned and did allow for reasonable dust suction removal but we did need to regularly stop to clear the sheet and there was a lot of dust not sucked away. The variety of grits is great and will be useful for when we move to prepping and painting. No issues with the Velcro - nice and secure. Wear wise, without using much pressure the removal is good and unlike others the surface did not wear unevenly or crack through to the paper backing. Marginally better wear than ones from a well known DIY store with an orange colour scheme. But better pack because of the options supplied.

I seem to be one of few people that really enjoys sanding...which is presumably a good thing since I regularly work with wood. I have a small finishing sander that takes 110mm x 115mm sheets and it can be tricky to find multi packs of pads this size so I regularly try out brands that I'm not familiar with. I hadn't come across this brand in the past so thought I'd give them go to see how they perform.First impressions of the sheets were positive, the hook and loop backing is quite dense compared to others I've used and fixes very securely to the foot of my sander. The extraction holes align well with those on the sander which i good. The cutting action of the sheets is every bit as good as any budget priced sandpaper I've used, it doesnt clog too easily and it is fairly durable.If I have any criticism of the set is that the range of grits are a bit skewed. Using a finishing sander is generally for finer sanding and the grits are 40, 60, 80 and 120. I almost never use anything below 80 grit and amost always use 240g and higher so a range that started at 80g (or 60g at a push) and went up to 320g/400g would perhaps have been better for most users needs I would have thought.Criticisms aside this is still a decent quality sanding sheet, at £13 for 50, the price point is very reasonable.

In un unico kit ci sono tutte le grane necessarie per passare da un legno grezzo ad uno levigato. La varietà di grane (40 / 60 / 80 / 120 / 240) permette, infatti, di affrontare diverse lavorazioni, dalla sgrossatura alla finitura. La carta è di buona qualità e resistente, non si consuma facilmente e il cambio sulla levigatrice orbitale è semplice grazie al sistema a velcro. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo. Kit consigliato.
