This was the perfect little solution to clip to my light and mount my zoom camera on the hot shoe.This clip is very sturdy and will get the job done!

I got these to mount my card reader at markets and crat fairs but have also used them with an additional phone holder piece to film work around my studio and workshop as well as hold my lighting for photos. I'm impresed witht eht grip and so far they are working well

I like the large, wide, yet strong clamp, which gives a sense of security when attaching an expensive cellphone to it. The ball-swivel which holds (whatever camera is attached to it) feels too small/weak for a full size DSLR camera, but ideal for a cellphone or a lighter camera. I use it to attach a cellphone - in its holder - to my automobile's sun-vizor, and it works reliably and well. Highly recommended for cellphones or light cameras.

I'm currently using this to mount a webcam at the top-corner of one of my computer monitors.The clamping force (and clamp size) seems a little high for this purpose, especially for some newer monitors with sleeker bezels, so I can't fully recommend it for this purpose. (Though it does work fine for mine). Of course, the high clamping force is a good thing if you want to use this in a different situation with a heavier camera.
