Just what I needed for my small crochet rabbits there not safety eyes because there’s no backs to them, but the size was perfect & I used rubber earring back to keep them in place.

I bought these for making micro crochet animals, none of the "safety" eyes are small enough (but to be fair, you'd not give a micro crochet item to a small child). These eyes are not what I would call safety eyes, However, the stem on these eyes is long enough and soft enough to be bent with a pair of needle nose pliers. I've only used these so far by pushing them into the tiny toy and super-glueing them in place. However, I have used a hole punch on some plastic to create some "backs". Twisting the stem into a loop will then make these "safety eyes" (safe enough for me anyway!) I hope this helps. If you're looking for teeny-tiny safety eyes (smaller than 6mm) I hope you manage to find some, because I couldn't! However, these are perfect for my needs; they appear to be black glass with a really nice shine to them and they really are very dinky. Postage from China was relatively quick and I'm really pleased with them!
