Good quality suspension seatpost. This design is more suited to a hybrid or a gravel bike than a real mountain bike. This type of seatpost clamp tends to slip on a mountain bike. It has about as much setback as my regular seatpost, although it looks like more when they are not side by side.

I commute to work on my e-bike and the potholes and other bumps in this part of the country can be brutal. I've been looking at suspension posts since a bike shop first told me about them several months ago. So far, two thumbs up on this one and it's a good value.You can find the correct size of the seatpost on the tube for the seatpost you are replacing. The included Allen wrenches help you move your existing saddle to the new post. I found I actually needed to use my electric drill to get them started and then to get the torque to tighten them. Adjusting the tilt of the saddle is easy with the geared side clamps.Slip the neoprene cover on before you put the seatpost into your bike. It will protect the joints from grime and moisture.You can get an initial setting for the travel by having someone look at the saddle from the side when you sit on it, to be sure it doesn't travel more than 1/3 of the distance. The adjustment is at the bottom of the seatpost. You can make additional adjustments after a ride around the block if needed. You'll be able to feel the post softening the bumps, which is amazing.One caveat: if your existing seatpost is very low, you may find that you can't get this low enough to still sit comfortably. I find I am just shy of the maximum insertion distance, but my bike frame is on the large side for my height.

I really like this seat post. I am using it on a fat tire bike that I ride for exercise, and it adds just the right amount of bounce over large bumps. Weighing approximately 230 pounds, this post works for me with the tension screw as tight as it will go. For anyone much heavier than me, I don't think it would work, as it would be too bouncy and too depressed even in a stationary position. But for anyone 250 pounds and less, I think this is a solid option (and much less expensive than some other brands). Overall, I am very happy with this seat post, and I am looking forward to the added comfort on my rides.

Junk its noisy it jus clunks every bump. Sounds like metal on metal as much as i paid for this i expected alot more. Wont ever buy this product or brand again. Total garbage!!!!!!!
