Purchased for my daughter who is in school and often needs to transport her projects back and forth. These work great. Great price for product and quality is nice. Love zipper design. Slim yet mighty.

I planned to use this for storing diamond art pieces but, it would be great for transporting wool applique or scrapbooking projects that you don't want bent or crushed. This art portfolio bag is made of thick, sturdy, tear resistant flexible plastic that is translucent and, feels slightly textured on one side, smooth on the other. All edges are nicely bound with fabric binding. There is 1 inside slip pocket on each side (2 total) that are open to the bottom of the bag to secure artwork flat against the sides. I don't like the pockets being open at the bottom because of the risk of sliding down and bending artwork edges but, I can put artwork in folders or envelopes before placing in the bag. The bottom has about a 2" gusset or width across the bottom. The 2 handles are medium thickness, about 1"w, with a 8.75" drop or height and are securely riveted in place. It has a full two way zipper (2 zipper pulls that zip in opposing directions) so that you can fully open up the bag flat on on it's spine. The bag is about 14"h x 17.5"w when closed and 17.5"w x 28.75" long when fully opened.

I will say that in a pinch that this is an adequate art bag; however, it is flimsy and I feel it is overpriced. It does what it says, though, as a portfolio. More student grade, bear that in mind.
