On my new punch needle embroidery journey i have normal round wooden hoops. I wanted to get something more securely for my fabric that also has different shapes and these hoops fit the bill. They have grooves inside that grip the fabric tight against the frames, so lesss slippage. Great shapes and come in lovely colours! A bargain as well for a set so i bought both sets. Easy to tighten with a small screwdriver. Very pleased overall.
