This was exactly what I'd been looking for for YEARS to fix the bottom of the old 50yr old metal backdoor at work to cover the disintegration to keep freezing wind outside.. stuck this on and waalaa i had something solid to stick the magnetic draft stopper to.Thank you

I did not use this strup in the end but it is defineltly stylish, clean and sleek. The adhesive works well. Nothing else!

Whatever you do, make sure you handle this with care or you will end up with some sliced fingers like I did. I still love it though… now I actually file it down before I use it and it works for me. This stuff comes in handy for so many crafting projects… it's made what otherwise would've been difficult jobs a whole lot easier. So as long as you're careful, I highly recommend it!

Used this to add a strip to my shower for the magnets to attach to. No more billowing curtains in the shower

Love the idea of being able to "create" your own magnet setup virtually anywhere with this adhesive strip. I ordered this item to help hold small objects in my garage workspace so I could clear up more valuable space to mount equipment that holds larger tools. Getting a bunch of little things onto the wall within reach was a great idea. The execution, however, could use some assistance. First and foremost, do not use scissors to cut this metal. Go get *long* tin snips that can cut through this in one motion. If you don't, you're going to end up with two mangled ends where you made your cut and both your current strip and whichever next one you create will have sharp, ugly metal edges begging to cut you. Also, don't expect to hold weighty items of any sort. I tried out the strength with my MagSafe phone case magnet to see if I could adhere my iPhone to the wall and have it hold as a mini-screen at eye level. It was successful. For about 3 seconds, and then slid down the metal until I caught it before it fell off completely. Just an FYI, keep your expectations moderate with what you can adhere and you'll be ok.
