This 3/4" tape is thick and very flexible / pliable (and is 3/4" wide). I needed something to seal and waterproof a gap around an exterior wall outlet/receptacle set into a brick wall to prevent moisture & rain from getting in; I didn't want to use silicone/caulking because the gap is too large. This tape seems ideal for this purpose.It's easy to mold around whatever you're applying it to and makes a good seal if you get it on there right; it feels almost like plumbers putty as you work with it.It stuck just fine to the bricks and to the plastic outlet box cover.I don't know how easy it will be to remove, as I haven't had to remove it. I haven't had it in place for long, so I hope it will hold up well over time.The box it comes in makes it easy to store. Updates to come if needed.

Pliable sealing tape that does the job (and nice big reel). I had water dripping from an exterior condensate pipe. Wrapped the joint with the tape and moulded it to seal the leak. Still in place and working fine. Can also use to seal interiors such as in bathroom - really useful stuff.

Bought it to fix a leaky outside tap. Water just passed through the tape. Not waterproof and not even sticky enough. Not recommended.

Using this to seal lots of things around the house and boat. Everything from gaps between door jambs to flashing. Pretty excellent, universal sealant.
