I used this to build a hybrid bike, that is, to install a drop bar in what used to be an MTB. These levers work perfectly fine with mechanical disk brakes. (Shimano, in my case).They are easy to install since they are shaped and have the bolts and bits just where it is expected. Any good tutorial on the web will suffice to install these in case it is your first time doing so.

Auf einen Kona 26" MTB montiert zu Tektreo mini V-Breaks (auch von amazon).Suppper, man kann mitFedergabel weiterfahren. Bin mehr als restlos zufrieden.

I put these on some cross drop bars and they felt great, easy to install and easy to put the cable through. Look cool too and go well with my bars.I'd recommend these levers.

Die Hebel scheinen mir ziemlich baugleich mit den doppelt so teuren Cane Creek Drop-V zu sein. Die Gummis passen jedenfalls 1 zu 1 und auch die Hebel sind gleich.Die Tektro RL 520 gefallen mir allerdings besser, da die Gummis griffiger sind und die Optik durch das kleinere Tektro-Logo auf den Hebeln deutlich dezenter ist als bei den Cane Creek.Ich verwende die RL 520 mit Avid BB7 Mtn Scheibenbremsen und jagwire Zügen und bin rundum zufrieden.Für den Preis (rund 25,-) nur zu empfehlen.

Good texture and feel to it. Feels solid when you are pulling on the lever. It gives a sense of stability and confidence that sometimes the newer STI-lever don't give.

Einzigartige Rennradhebel für V-Brake. Schönes klassisches Design, guter Griff, einfach einzustellen u.a. wegen praktischem Quick-Release. Sehr wertig und trotzdem günstig. Super! Jederzeit zu empfehlen :)(Cave: man braucht einen etwas längeren Imbusschlüssel, mit dem Multitool kommt man evtl nicht an die Schraube ran. Den hat man als Hobbybastler aber eh)

A good and reliable brakes, if you are looking for internal shifters then theses aren’t what you are looking for then. I wish I could say more but. Then this review may sound fake.

Leve freno di ottima qualità, montate già da qualche settimana e ne sono pienamente soddisfatto. Solide e precise. Comodo il tasto che permette il rilascio ulteriore del cavo per facilitare lo smontaggio della ruota.
