The sandals are very nice, but the soles are very narrow. My feet hang over the sides on both sides, otherwise the length is just about right. I may give these to my sister who is tall and has roughly the same size feet, but her feet are far more narrow.

This was the closest match for a discontinued style. The straps are a neoprene type material, and not the typical patterned nylon weave straps. They are padded with a bit of stretch, and extremely comfortable. I am confident they will rub less than the non-padded nylon straps as they break in. I like both kinds of straps, but this pair will be a super comfortable light/med walker/hiker that can "splosh" right through the water. Footbase has a slight squishy/soft surface similar to other models of this type.
