I travel a fair amount and ordered this as a way to provide a sense of security when I'm in hotels or other unfamiliar places. I've tested it several times on my doors at home and it really works; very secure. This helps provide a sense of safety while I'm traveling.Easy to put on, easy to remove, plus the color is cool. Appreciate this product.

This is a nice looking and relatively small door lock for hotel rooms. I don't travel often, but this helps me rest easier in a foreign bedroom. Anyone trying to get in will at least have to make some noise doing so! This is easy to use and travel with, so definitely a worthwhile addition to your travel bag!

I’m a solo world traveler, and have stayed at more than 500 AirBnBs, hostels, and hotels in the last ten years. Always alert to my personal safety I work hard to investigate every site I stay at thoroughly, but how sure can you be until you get there? A few years back I came upon door stoppers that wedge under and when switched on will sound a screeching alarm if anyone tries to open the door. That was wonderful, until I stayed at a house share where my bedroom door had an inch-and-a-half gap under it. Stoppers only work when they can actually wedge, so I was at a loss of what to do.Until I found this.Now I no longer need to be on guard for any alarm, as long as the house or bedroom door opens inward they aren’t going to get past this baby unless they take the door frame with it.Came with TWO units, each with their own drawstring bag, which were both lovely surprises.SPECIAL NOTE: As an approved Amazon Vine member, I am trusted to select items (sometimes from a list of 75,000+ options) for review. I travel a lot and I worry about my safety.This tool is extremely useful.It comes with no instruction. You would need to go on the amazon and check.You have to practice before applying in the door because once it’s on.. it’s hard to get it out off the door.

I got these travel locks to increase my adult daughter security for her travel job. She travels extensively, and stays at both hotels and airbnbs. Having the ability to make sure her door isn't going to open unless she wants it to gives her and me peace of mind.These work great. They're easy to understand. They don't weigh a lot so they don't take up much space in your luggage. It's nice to have one. They make a great gift!
