I ordered and received it. I am missing the turn table parts to put on a light stand or Tripod!

The Trexo wheels can be used for so many different purposes. Great standby and in use battery life and the battery lasts for a long while. I would love if it had a removable replaceable battery in case you have an intense log shoot day but I have not had an issue with loss of battery life when I needed it yet. It’s easy to jut charge while prepping for the next shot. But if the battery ever goes bad It would be nice if it was easy to replace. There are 4 bolts on the bottom so it may be easy to replace but I’m not going to remove it now to find out.If you do not have anything to use or are looking for something super portable and know you will have surfaces at you location this is truly a great slider to use. It works well and is extremely quiet.The first think I had to be aware of is what is the front and the back. Understanding that in the app helps you to be sure to configure it properly. Also it is best to measure out your distance. You can try doing test runs stop it and have it return to its starting point. It is pretty precise and will return to its starting point pretty accurately.This is not way a replacement for a camera slider but offers something all together different and can serve many purposes. Truly great for product B-Roll. I have used in for a couple of shoots and I am truly impressed. The major difference with the Trexo wheels is the number of different functions. I primarily use it with my gopro for nice revealing shots or some slight camera movements but you can actually manually program it or use the launch pad and take a picture to have it move in and out of different products capturing extremely smooth video. I even set it to loop and turned on my camera to record and adjusted lighting to get different looks while the Trexo wheels just moved my camera. The turntable feature is great on a tripod because you can get your subject off of a large table and have it floating. With a small piece of green screen cloth and a background I am able to get great footage to add to social media posts showing off a particular product.I keep finding different ways to use this awesome product. I am looking forward to seeing what the updates will bring as well as what version 2 will be like.The only thing I don’t like is that the camera path with the latch pad can take time to set up a you have to come out of the camera path tab to get the Trexo Wheels to go back to its original location. Other than that the app works great. Even with the few things I would like to see upgraded in the future I still give it 5 stars. If my opinion changes with further use I will come back to update my review.

This is one of those rare gems that you always wanted, but never could justify why exactly outside a few niche things. So you consistently pass it up. But oh boy how wrong you would be, the capabilities of this are truly endless.I originally got this to do some 3d item scanning and take some fun videos around some products. However it can do a lot more than that. You can set this on a table and move it however you want. Whether it be a radius, square, rectangle, pyramid, etc. You can also move it with your hand how you want it to go and it will learn and repeat the process. This is incredibly useful for taking fun shots and creative video.Incoming Pros/ConsPros:-Incredibly well made and robust (very heavy to boot)-Easy to control via mounted controls or via phone. No complicated either-Comes with case and spin wheel to use it as a traditional spinning plate as well-Holds the heaviest of cameras without breaking a sweat. My r5 with 28-70mm lens is enormous!!-Good battery lift and easy charging via USB C portCons;-Aint cheap, but honestly worth way more in function that its cost-No sensors if its about to fall off the table (glad my primary rig wasnt attached than!All in all this is a exciting and more useful than I ever could have imagined electronic dolly. It can do a lot more than those cheap knock off ones all over amazon can. It can also hold whatever you want one it. If youre looking to make some creative art videos or do 3d scanning this is a great addition to your setup!

Having used a few Edelkrone products, I expected the user experience of this device to be similar: when it works, it’s great — just don’t count on it always working. So far, I’m glad to say that results have been consistent and reliable.Setting the device up is easy. Just download the app to your phone while charging the dolly’s battery, turn it on, open the app, and you’re good to go — the app and device instantly talk to each other without having to manually pair via bluetooth. From there, you have the ability to program a few moves, ranging from simple push and pulls to clockwise or counterclockwise rotations. A particularly handy feature is that you can pre-program the move type, distance, and other settings, then send it to the device, where it will cache these settings until you hit play on the device itself. This is handy if you’re using other apps during a production, such as Sidus Link or a storyboard app (or camera/social media apps, if you’re shooting on your phone). You can also reset a move, which prompts the dolly to return to its original starting point. For match-cutting, this feature alone is priceless.My main complaint with the device is that, while mounting your phone to it works great, there’s a lot left to be desired if you plan to use a mirrorless setup. While you absolutely can mount a camera to the device, don’t expect a particularly secure connection: there’s only one screw, and it’s on the tail of the slider which does not provide a solid base for your camera. That said, this is a gripe more than a serious issue, as the slider can really only be used in extremely controlled environments, and despite providing only a loose connection for larger cameras, at the end of the day the camera will stay mounted.Overall this is a great tool to enhance product videography — the moves are perfect, even with a mirrorless setup and when shooting at tight focal lengths where shake can become apparent. Additionally, the intuitiveness of the device makes it a great option for TikTok and Instagram creators — although the price may be too steep to justify for such use.
