Bought this for my daughter who is an avid climber. She likes the portability of the item. She can use it at home as exercise as well as take it to sites to warm up before a climb.

The rock climbing hangboard is a great tool for people who want to improve their grip strength, finger strength, and overall climbing abilities. It comes with various holds, such as outer jugs, finger pockets, and edges, that mimic the different types of holds found on real rock climbing routes. The fingerboard is suitable for both beginners and advanced climbers, with different exercises available for different skill levels. If you're a beginner, you can start with the easier holds and work your way up to the more challenging ones. And if you're an advanced climber, there are plenty of exercises available to push yourself to new heights. The quality of the fingerboard is top-notch, with smooth and polished surfaces that won't hurt your fingers, and the wood is natural and skin-friendly. Plus, it's lightweight and portable, so you can take it with you wherever you go.It's easy to hang the fingerboard anywhere, indoor or outdoor, using the included climbing rope. And if you're having trouble gripping the holds, the product recommends using chalk for an easier grip.Overall, the rock climbing hangboard is a high-quality and versatile tool that's perfect for anyone looking to improve their climbing skills.

Nicely smoothed edges, no splinters or sharp spots. Nicely done!Rope holes are precisely sized for the supplied rope so it's a little bit of a chore to feed but not more than a minute or so for each side.Suggestions if you're having issues feeding the rope:1. Lightly "crush" the melted end of the rope if it's overlarge for the hole. I wouldn't go wild because you don't want it to start to fray.2. Pre-twist the first 1-2 inches (2.5-5cm) of the end you're working with about 1 full rotation of the rope. This will slightly shrink the diameter by squeezing the fibers tighter.3. Insert the rope and twist in the SAME direction continuously as you apply pressure. This is important because if you take the twist out then the rope fibers will expand and it will go nowhere.4. If you're completely stuck, try something like a metal hanger end as a pusher to get it started and then start the twist + push.Once the rope is through, tie whatever type of knot you're comfortable with as long as it's tight, it doesn't matter. You just want two loops of about the same size.

Wonderful hangboard. I thought I would be mostly using it on trips, but it has actually become my main hangboard. The only VERY minor issue I had was with the holes for the rope being quite snug. Ended up re-cutting the rope ends and melting the end into a thinner size. That sorted it out nicely!
