If I could give this 6 stars I would. Works really well, easy to position and no leaks. I've used at least 5 other designs of this type of tool, and this is certainly the simplest and most effective I've tried yet. This is not the most compact design, but its size and shape are the reasons it works so well. It is slim and lightweight, and easy to put in a purse, hip pack, or backpack. If anyone were to see it in your purse or pack, they likely would not immediately recognize its purpose, if at all, and that's ok. It's also easy to rinse out or shake dry after use. Highly recommended!

One thing to know right off the bat is that this is a hard plastic aid. It is not soft. That being said, it all depends on your school of thought when using it. On the one hand, the hard plastic could potentially be uncomfortable. On the other hand, the steady shape means it will not collapse when using it. Overall, it does work. You just have to understand what it is you're getting.

I have owned a couple of these and a couple of the same channel style from another company. (I haven't tried a squishy funnel and imagine that is much harder to place without pulling down one's trousers, which defeats the whole purpose.) I don't like to hike or camp without it. Preferably, it is stowed somewhere I can reach without taking off the pack when hiking. Both are great, although this one is slightly narrower and if you really, really need to go the flow can back up. So don't pee too fast and there won't be wet in undesirable places.Unfortunately, my original like this, after many years of excellent service, managed to get underneath a full water jug in the trailer on a few miles of good gravel road. The cruel jug jumped all over it and broke it up into little pieces. And there I was, still with a perfectly good bag but no device.So this is perfect because now I don't need to rebuy the bag to replace the urinal. Less waste and less cost, a win win. This is also perfect if you want a different bag or carry mode.If you are gram counting, this is just 18g, which is 5g lighter than my other.

This is the BEST female urination device EVER. It is extremely easy to use and it basically wipes you too. It is nice that it is made of a hard plastic so it doesn't fold up on itself. To wipe, you just drag the Venus against your skin and shake the device off. The pee just rolls off like water on a duck's back. I use a pencil bag from the dollar store to store it in.If you are wearing a skirt, loose shorts, bathing suit, you just pull your bottoms to the side and slide the Venus to the right area and pee. If you have tighter pants on, you do need to pull them down some to slide the Venus in to place. This is so convenient especially when you are hiking and your are sweaty and hot.I love this Venus to Mars so much that I have bought about 20 of them for gifts. I love it so much that I have 1 in my hiking backpack, 1 in my truck, and 1 in my boat bag.

Works wonderfully, but I do wish it was a little longer to ensure nothing splashes onto my shoe, and that it came with a carrying case or bag of some kind. Maybe also a cleaning utensil like you would use with a reusable straw because the funnel is very narrow. However I am still glad to have it, and these are only suggestions for product improvement. I know that would drive up the cost a bit, but it would be worth it to me. Anyway, no more squatting but may still get pee splashed on my shoes unless I lean up against a tree or something.
