This is very cheap for what it is but it needs to come with a generic router base plate. It’s like selling a cheap car with a hole in the roof and having to find a 3rd party sunroof to make it a complete car. Come on, Vevor… Charge more and sell a complete product. It would be a winner.

I would label this a do not buy as the above mentioned problems ( I had to order 3 different plates of which only one worked and that was one I had to totally fabricate) the bolts that hold this thing together are crap. No matter how hard you tighten them they come loose usually in the middle of work. I have ruined 3 cutting boards with this junk. I’m looking at getting the rockler it looks so much more well built. Stay away from this junk.

I know it's in every single picture and the parts list is unclear, but they actually exclude the lexan plate that you would attach your router to. You get the red plates, the aluminum bars, and even some of the hardware for the plate (the trail limit clamps are to set end points for the sliding plate), but the plate itself is not included. There's no way to get the plate (I've asked asked the seller and manufacturer) so you have to figure out how to make one yourself. I was able to get a plate customized from woodgrain junkie that should work, but that was another $50 bucks to make this device even functional.

This product is good. However, I was not told/or shown that it does not come with the skirting board. I had to find one for myself. Had I known I would have either purchased the upgraded model that comes with the skirting board(s) Or I would not have purchased this model at all.Once I was able to get a skirting board It did work properly. Why this is not sold with a skirting board does not make sense to me. Also contacted the company to see if they can sell it separately. No luck.

I had built my own router sled for flattening slabs about a year and half ago. Overall it did the job but I never was thrilled with the sled portion and wanted to upgrade to an aluminum frame with wheels along the side such as this. However the only other version is too expensive for what it was and I was not going to spend time sourcing t track and wheels…brackets etc.Then I kept seeing vevors version and I thought heck for two hundred bucks it saves me time making the sled. I had built a table so I just needed the sled. This worked great.Overall assembly is pretty easy especially if you have worked any sleds before. However you need to make your own router plate. Just order a piece of 3/8” plexi about 10x10 inches and make your own plate. I have a laser so it was easy for me to make the plate to fit my router. Perfect fit. It slides easily through the track and once adjusted the t track no side to side movement.The wheels work as expected….I just made rails from a planed 2x4x8 cut to 2” wide as that gave me the height I needed….I flatten some thick stuff so I need about 4” from bed to bit.So if you just want to save time jimmy rigging the sled this works great. Making the table is easy…you don’t need to overcomplicate it.
