I got this shampoo to use with an 8 lbs. Pomeranian and an 11 lbs. Chihuahua. There was no lather generated, even when mixing with some water. It goes on more like an ointment. As a result, when your dog has a big volume of fur, like with my Pomeranian, the shampoo does not spread well. You need some lather for it to spred through the volume of hair fibers. I ended up using a quarter of the bottle just on one dog, half the bottle on the two of them. This means I'll get a total of 4 washes from this one bottle. I also agree with another reviewer who commented that there is a slight chemical smell to this product. The listing states all the undesireable ingredients that this shampoo does not have, but it still does not have what I would consider a pleasent odor to it. Instead, as I was washing the Pom, I found myself thinking "I hope that scent doesn't stick to him". My dogs' fur does look clean and there are no lingering smells or residues. It may very well be a better quality product, but there's not a lot to encourage me to keep using it after this bottle is done. It's expensive and only provides 4 washes for 2 small dogs. It's not pleasent smelling to me, and without a good lather, it's hard for me to tell whether it's actually working itself down to my dog's skin. I'll acknowledge that it works, but with perfectly good, well-rated, and vet recommended alternatives available at much lower prices, I can't call this a good value.

Smells good and makes my dirty raggy dog look clean. What more can you ask for in a dog shampoo. The natural ingredients doesn’t irritate her sensitive skin

This Shine dog shampoo has a clean, fresh, herbal/sandalwood cedar type smell. It's a fresh smell, more a masculine smell rather than feminine smell. The shampoo doesn't sup up & bubble very much. So at first, I felt like I had to use quite a bit of the shampoo to get a sudsy texture to my pup's coat, but I realized, it just doesn't sud up very much. We've used it twice already. I haven't noticed a significant "shine" on her coat the two times we have bathed her with this shampoo; but, what I have noticed is her coat doesn't feel dry, it's actually quite soft & fluffy. So I can say her hair and coating does look healthier after using the shampoo. We have a Sheepadoodle, but she has more of the sheep dog hair rather than the curly poodle hair. We keep her hair long & brush her about 1-2 times per day to keep her from matting up. She bathes weekly, depending on how messy she gets, sometimes twice per week. So, it's nice that her coat feels hydrated & not dry since her coat does get bathed & combed a lot.

This dog shampoo spreads easily but hasn't offered much relief for our pup's dry skin or enhanced her coat's shine. Additionally, its minimal lather requires a generous amount for coverage. Despite this, it leaves the coat soft and fluffy. Yet, for dogs with thick fur, like my Poodle, achieving even coverage without lather is challenging, resulting in excessive product usage. Additionally, it emits a slight chemical scent during the wash, though the dog smells fresh post-wash. While somewhat effective, its high price and low value per wash make it less appealing compared to more affordable alternatives. Overall, while it may suit some, there are superior options available.
