This is pretty sturdy for a freestanding closet. Assembly is pretty simple. Just follow the pictograph assembly instructions and pay attention to which joiner you're using. I was impressed to find that the pipe/poles are actually metal, rather than PVC. That gives me some hope that this will hold up to all the clothes that will fit into it, which is a lot! The storage cubbies below are great for folded clothes or shoes. And I like that it has curtains you can close to keep your space looking neat.My one concern is the plastic connecters. They're pretty thin and if you squeeze the opening with your fingers, you can bend them out of shape. It takes some force, but it's still concerning. The joints are always the weak spots. Once assembled it's sturdy, but can still be 'rocked' a little. Which is hard on the joints. So, I picked up a few 'U Straps' and anchored it to the wall at around 3 1/2 ft off the floor. (I started that by running a 1"x 4" board the full length of the closet, and screwed it into the wall studs. This also acted as a spacer to allow the unit to sit level, and keep all the 'feet' firmly on the floor.) With that done, I'm much more confident in it's longevity.

This portable closet is spacious and convenient for extra storage. I have a one bedroom apartment that doesn't have a ton of storage space but has a lot of extra living/dining room space that I wasn't using. This was the perfect solution for me. I put my coats, work clothes, shoes, and other items that I need to store in it. It makes my living room appear more organized since theres less visible clutter and containers. There is ample room for my clothing and also for storage baskets and bins. It was pretty easy to set up, and mistakes I made along the way were quick and easy to identify and correct. It took me just under an hour total to set it up by myself (had to correct 2 mistakes I made where I skipped steps so could've taken less time). The hardest part for me was putting the fabric slip over frame, It was a bit tight. I wish it came with a purchase option for replacement covers, since I tore a top rear corner trying to force it on the frame though luckily, it is not visible. Overall, this is a great, affordable storage solution.
