I ordered these shoes for my son for ad hoc beach trips as well as for swimming as he was outgrowing his croc style sandals. I was really pleased with the quality of these shoes. They have a nice flexible sole with plenty of cushioning. My son says they are very comfortable. The upper is made of a mesh fabric making it both breathable and easy to dry. These also look quite nice as they have a trainer style design with the laces. The mechanism to tighten and loosen the shoes works well. They are also really light and can easily be packed away in a bag for trips. We prefer to leave a beach bag in the car with shoes and beach toys and these are perfect since they are not so bulky. These are good value too at £13.99 (at time of review).

These are some lovely water shoes that I got for my son to wear on the beach this coming summer. Last year he had some that he didn't really get on with as there wasn't much on the sole of the shoe and he couldn't walk across the beach carpark in them to get to the sand. These shoes seem like much better quality and for a similar price to most others on the market (16.99 at time of order). The mesh is not too thin, thick enough to protect the skin but stretchy and breathable against the foot. We do tend to have an issue with slip on shoes where they aren't tight enough at the top. These aren't as tight as I would like but not as bad as other's we have tried. I would recommend sizing down if between sizes though. The soles of these are brilliant. They are made of a black rubber and there is a really grippy pattern and texture in the rubber that will make it much safer and more comfortable when he is exploring the rock pools etc. Highly recommend!

Great beach shoes , true to size, my son is a size 2 regular show and these size 2 beach shoes fitted perfectly. They are comfortable and easy to put on and clean up well so really pleased with these and would highly recommend

We got these mesh water shoes for my daughter for upcoming beach trips and water play. I've been really pleased with them, and more importantly, so has she!They seem very well made, and the mesh upper material is great as it dries out nice and quickly after getting wet. They look quite stylish too, more like colourful trainers than traditional clunky water shoes. My daughter can be very fussy about shoes, but she genuinely loves these and wears them without any complaints, which is high praise indeed.The quick lace system with the toggle adjuster is a bonus it makes them easy to get on and off, and you can ensure a snug, secure fit so they don't come adrift in the water. The non-slip sole seems to offer decent grip too.Overall, a great pair of kids' water shoes. They're well-made, quick-drying, look good, are easy to fasten, and crucially, they pass the fussy-child test! Perfect for holidays involving the beach, pool, or water park.
