We don't yet have "city water" and use filtered rain water from cisterns for household uses. It's very good quality -- perfectly fine for showering, washing dishes, washing clothes, etc. We just use bottled water (big 7-liter jugs, available at our supermarket) for drinking and cooking. This dispenser is very discreet and easy to use. The alternative for us was to have one of those big, commercial-type pedestals with the inverted jug on top. This dispenser is way better. I drilled a hole in the cap of one of the big water jugs and run the suction tube to the bottom. Very easy. Works fine. When the level gets too low, we just dump the remainder into the espresso machine's reservoir and open a new bottle. We don't really use the quantity control very much, but we don't mind it being there.

Works really good nothing to complain about the product itself. I do really think that this could be priced at around 10-15 euro's
