As an engineer I can certainly endorse the quality of these 316 polished s/s hinges, being completely corrosion resistant is paramount in our coastal location.They are as expected, very robust and solid, ideal for the heavy doors that they are used for. The holes take M8 bolts or 8mm screws, of course it would be best practice to use 316 stainless steel fixings.The items were delivered before the due date and were very well packaged.

I used these hinges to create hinged strong points to strap my portable generator to the foredeck of my cruiser. They did the job very well. I was able to drill out the front hole to take my holding down strap ends. The advantage of this system that the foredeck was uncluttered when the generator was removed. The other holes were an adequate sise to take substanial bolts
