I was using a 42" long air scraper with a 3" wide blade to remove 12"×12" cracked marble tiles. I didn't have continuous power with the air compressor. Also it was too big to get in between the pantry and other tighter areas. I installed this tile chisel in my hammer drill and I couldn't believe how much faster the tile came up. I was also able to remove the mortar without damaging the Cement board under it. This chisel is angled like a spatula which keeps the hammer drill off the floor. It can be installed in a couple of positions so the handle of your drill is not in your way. I also liked that it was sharpened on both sides. I highly recommend this tile chisel. For the price it was a steal.

Based on price, this is half the cost of the name brand's top-quality SDS Plus Chisel bits.You can see that the machining of this bit is not perfect, but it's used for demolition. The steel is hard, and it seems to have a sharp edge. This fits into my Ridgid rotary hammer drill and locks in solid. I have not had any issues.Overall the price is right, and the steel is has not chipped, or dented with use.
