This is the only Shears that able to cut the Chicken and the bone. I have try other brands, which do not work well with the bone cutting. This Shear has that extra power to cut, and its not straining your hands.

Update after 1 year of use:My ONLY gripe is the locking mechanism has loosened and locks the blades after almost each cut. These still are great for heavy cutting however chicken skin cuts with only the front of the bladesFirst review:These sturdy heavy duty shears have better blade/edge contact than shears that can be taken apart. I find this a plus as they perform far better than our other shears that disassemble.They are not more trouble to hand wash than any other pair of shears. We've owned these just several months, use them several times a week. So far It functions as expected from Henckels. It is a pleasure to use. It cuts chicken and other food items cleanly. Our pair shows no sign of rust.

Ich habe diese Geflügelschere schon einmal verschenkt und konnte mich Weihnachten, beim zerteilen der Gans, überzeugen wie gut sie funktioniert.

One of the best products I've ever bought. These things will really cut through those bones. This is my second set...NOT because there was anything wrong with old set but a year ago I broke my ankle and had had to wear a cast for six weeks. One night, the night before I was to have it removed, The cast had become so painful as it had started rubbing my skin to where there was bleeding and an infection underneath and had become so unbearable that I used my first set to cut through the cast. to cut away enough to give me some relief just to get to sleep. Amazing! The doctors usually use a power saw device to cut through, but this one did the job, albeit It did dull it up enough that even tring to sharpen it, it wasn't quite the same. That's why I had to get another.Prior to my cast removal, these had served me well for several years even without sharpening.You'll be happy you bought these.
