The dimension is wrong. The product quality was cheaply built and not great and I don't even think I can install them since the hole is too big and it's not even circular; it is oval shape while my pole dimension require a circular shaped squirrel protector.

This product was a TRUE p.i.t.a. to put together for this old man. You have to invert a wrapped piece of polypropylene to its opposite side and then insert the ties. (First pic) I guess the tape included was to hold it (no pic) in place (sorta) so the ties can be utilized. I wasted four ties for the first attempt and used some red ones i had. 2nd pic with red ties, stops, screws and nuts. I first tried to put it together my way with the curl of the wrap instead of against the curl of the wrap. WRONG!! I used some old hemostats to help thread and tighten. I have used the larger metal cones many times but they are much more expensive. I now make stovepipe baffles to snake or critter proof when using poles. Included are stops to wrap around a pole to hold the baffle's position on a pole. It is in two halves with machine screws to tightwn on the pole. My feeders are hanging (3rd pic) from an overhead deck and the cones will rest on a part of the feeder as to discourage squirrel entrance from above. I'm sure it will work well. But boy!!!! it was an adventure to put them together!! To be fair, patience is a virtue!
