These are the best pins for piecing. Slip in easily and iron doesn’t melt the handle. They also don’t fall through the holes in Janome machine bed like the clover pins do. Now that my hands are getting older it is easier to grab and use these pins. The are magic.

As above in my title, these are sharp and fine, and easy to see on the floor if dropped. However, they are quite flimsy. The metal of the pin is so fine that it will bend easily if you are not careful in putting the pins into the fabric (silk). I bought them specifically for their ease of grip which is good, and for the fine and sharp pin for silks. For the price there are enough, but they are not as sturdy as the difficult to find nowadays, Iris Silk pins .

I love these pins! They slide easily through silk and it's wonderful to not have to worry while ironing with them in place.
