Der Hut ist nicht Wasserabweisend, er hat sich beim ersten Regen vollgesogen wie ein Schwamm. Es ist zu empfehlen den Hut selbst zu imprägnieren. Sonst ok.

I struggle to find hats (as my head is 64cm with my hair shaved in a grade 1 all over.)Ordered 1 of these, and all I can say is that I finally found my holy grail of sun hats - fits like a dream and is superbly well made.I have ordered three more (baseball cap with neck covering as well) - simply because they are so amazing.

I ordered this hat mainly for use when we go fishing in the spring summer months. It ticks all the boxes that I was hoping it would.• It has UPF50 protection• It has a nice wide brim to shade my neck and face• It has a drawstring chin strap in case it gets windy and needs to be secured• It has mesh panelling to help release heat• It's easily foldable and takes up very little roomIt certainly seems to be just what I was hoping it would be, added to that it is comfortable to wear and appears well made, I'm very pleased with it, and certainly happy to recommend it.

Was den Sonnen/Fischerhut von anderen hervorhebt:a) Lüftungsgitter auf der Rückseiteb) Weiches aber dennoch Formbeständiges Materialc) mühelose Längenverstellung des Haltebandes und des Kopfumfanges.Dieser Hut ersetzt nun alle Sonnen/Fischerhüte die ich vorher hatte.

I like the colour and light weight of the hat, it should be great for keeping the sun off due to the wide brim, the chin strap will be vital on windy days as it turned out to be a tick larger than expected (though there is a thoughtful drawstring to help tighten the fit, but it is elasticized and in a strong wing I think it may requie the chin strap).I wish it hat not come folded over, as it now doesn't lay nice and flat like in the article's photos, maybe over time it will.The real test will come this summer when it is hot and sunny, and if my very fair skin burns even under the hat.

Er ist leicht, Atmungsaktiv und Bequem. Er ist Anpassbar durch eine Schnur am Hinterkopf und das Kinnband kann man Abmachen wen das stört. Super Fand ich die Idee mit dem Atmungsaktiven Gittergewebe am Hinterkopf. Die Brillenhalterung finde ich etwas verspielt, ich werde meine Brille weiterhin am T-Shirt anklemmen, wenn ich sie nicht verwende. Wenn ich mir etwas wünschen dürfte, wäre das eine Versteifung der Krempe (Beispielsweise durch einen Innenliegenden Metalldraht), damit man entsprechend der Lichtverhältnisse der Kopfbedeckung eine andere Form geben kann. Super zufrieden bisher, die Feuertaufe werde ich ihr aber erst nächste Monat zum 50km Megamarsch im Juli geben.

I initially ordered this for myself, for fishing, but my girlfriend has purloined it as a sun hat. This was partially due to some moans and niggles I had about it but mainly because she liked it.I have quite a large head (60cm) so was happy to see that this came in a variety of clearly specified sizes. At first I was disappointed with the size as it felt too big but a quick adjustment of the elasticised draw cord at the back fixed that. The brim is also a lot larger than I was expecting. For my partner this was a good thing as it keeps the sun off but I felt it didn't really suit me. One of the main selling points for me was the waterproof aspect. If I'm standing in the rain fishing it's be nice to keep my head dry. The problem I have is that there's a large vent at the bag so not sure how this is going to keep me dry. As a summer hat though it's great to prevent you from getting burned either by the pool or when you're out and about.Overall it's a well made hat and feels pretty premium. Unfortunately it didn't really suit me. However my other half is delighted to have it.
