I hadn’t had the opportunity to try one of the qi chargers for the car. My current one is a mechanical holder and sometimes doesn’t keep the phone in place.First impressions out of the box the charging part is quite heavy and feels solid. The rest of the mount is a lighter plastic that feels a little flimsy. It comes with a single USB C cable that is about 3ft long. There is not only the suction cup but also a vent clip attachment. It also sports a cooling fan behind the charger.Couple things to mention.- USB C cable is quite short. I also only have A ports and would have liked to see an adapter. I would have also liked a more clean cable management for the cable.- the qi magnet part is very strong. The only downside is I have an iPhone and the magnet is a single circle and doesn’t have the additional magnet to keep it straight, so it will swivel off center while driving.- charging seems to be about the same as hardwire, it’s decent enough to charge the phone in a reasonable amount of time.TL;DRDecent charging with multiple mounting options, cable shorter than desired, solid built, would recommend.
